Hey everyone.

Please….please…please. Go read and share my post that I have linked above!

(And the more people will put Barack and Michelle Obama back into the white house for another four years!)

I know I’ve already posted this, but I need everyone to take a look at it and share it!

Not just because I want to increase the number of views on my blog post.

But because I want you to understand that Mitt Romney wants to treat this country like a business. This country isn’t a company. It’s a community. An overly large community that needs to be accepted for the amount of diversity it holds. It needs a leader that accepts that women, minorities, and the lower class are what build and create a majority of this country. We don’t need a leader who didn’t see the point in pulling out of the war. We don’t need a leader who will punish the children of immigrants by not allowing them to get an education. We certainly don’t need a leader who doesn’t believe in women having a choice of their own bodies.

So yes. Reblog and share this post on here and on other social networking sites.

People in swing states need to know what’s at stake with this election.

Share and remember to vote!

He doubled funding for Pell grants, increased the amount of financial aid for students to 9 million students a year. The administration proposed a cap for former students working on paying back their loans. The proposition would make the maximum amount at 10 percent of their income starting in 2012. But finally, the Obama administration has invested $2 billion in competitive grants to community colleges to raise completion rates and create new programs that prepare students for job opportunities in their area.

2012

i know a lot of people don’t think obama achieved much in his term, but i would much rather have someone who can speak publicly about this kind of stuff than not. really cool.

plus, the republican candidates are a bunch of bafoons. and i’m not just saying that. they literally are crazy.

It angers me that a lot of people in this community decided to vote for the Republican party during the midterm elections in order to “get back” at President Obama because he hadn’t passed gay marriage federally.

Here’s a fact sheet about what President Obama’s done.

Here’s the “It Gets Better” video page that includes multiple videos from his administration.

Here’s the LGBT page for the White House that includes a blog about LGBT issues, links to the Trevor Project and It Gets Better, information about what President Obama is doing to support AIDS/HIV research and prevention and even a video of Dr. Jill Biden speaking at a PFLAG event.

Don’t try to tell me that my President doesn’t care about our community. Representative Nancy Pelosi who was one of the highest women and LGBT allies in his administration lost her position during the midterm elections because people decided to punish President Obama. By doing that you’ve proceeded to put the exact people in charge who don’t want to give the LGBT community in charge. And what have they done? Blocked and prevented President Obama from doing other things in this country. As a matter of fact every single Republican candidate right now that’s running for President has said that they will repeal DADT as soon as they get into office.

I’m voting for President Obama again in November because I believe in creating progress and equality for our community.

Hopefully you’ll do the same.

If asking a millionaire to pay the same tax rate as a plumber or a teacher makes me a class warrior, a warrior for the middle class, I will accept that; I’ll wear that as a badge of honor,” Mr. Obama said. “Because the only class warfare I’ve seen is the battle that’s been waged against the middle class in this country for a decade now.

It’s about damn time. Course, it’s a stump speech. But I suppose I’ll take it.

What has Obama done for LGBT Americans?

There’s still a LOT of stuff left to do, but damn we did get a lot of stuff done.

This is an example of why I get so frustrated with LGBTQ people who decided to vote Republican during the midterm election for the sole reason of President Obama not passing marriage equality nationwide. They ignored all the stuff he has done, all the progress he could still make, and decided to “teach him a lesson” by voting against him.

Think before you vote people. Come on now.

I know that a lot of people in America, LGBTQ people, are upset with President Obama because they feel as though he isn’t as supportive or pushing gay rights as far and as fast as they hoped he would be. Well if you look at the fact sheet, he’s done so much more than any other leader, let alone president, in this country’s history. Sure, gay marriage still isn’t legal nationwide and Transgendered and Transsexual people can’t serve in the military. But he’s done so much for us, that it literally angers me that people are voted for Republicans instead of Democrats during the midterm elections, as a sign of “protest” or as an “answer” to him not passing equal marriage nationwide. That’s so counteractive to what we want. The right is literally the people who run organizations and networks like Fox News and Focus on The Family, which is where most of the anti-gay funds are coming from.

All I’m saying is, before you get to hating on President Obama, take note of what he’s done and take note of what his opposers are preventing.

“Donald Trump is here tonight. Now I know that he’s taken some flack lately, but no one is happier, no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald. And that’s because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?”

Remember that time Fox News posted an article from The Onion as an actual news story?

Oh, Fox. Just sit down before you hurt yourself. Leave the news to legit journalists, k?
